Your safety and results are always my highest priority. Sofwave treatments are not recommended for anyone with open wounds, lesions, or active cystic acne in the treatment area, as well as those with pacemakers or implanted electronic devices near the treatment site.
Precautions:
In certain cases, treatment may need to be postponed or adjusted. This includes individuals who are pregnant, have recently given birth (within the past three months), or are currently breastfeeding. Those experiencing an active skin infection, inflammation, or significant scarring in the area should also wait until the skin has fully healed before proceeding.
SofWave may not be suitable for clients currently or recently (within six months) using Isotretinoin, or those taking anti-platelet or anti-coagulant medications within two weeks of treatment. It’s also advised to avoid treatment directly over areas with dermal fillers, metal implants, or facial stents.
Additional considerations include chronic illness, substance use, or psychiatric medications that may affect healing. For clients prone to viral or bacterial skin conditions such as cold sores, dermatitis, or shingles, a preventive protocol may be recommended prior to treatment.
